TAIPEI (The China Post) — Presidential Office spokesperson Xavier Chang (張惇涵) reported on Monday evening that President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) had experienced no side effects after receiving the Medigen vaccine shot on Monday.
According to Chang, after the vaccination, Tsai returned to the office and continued working.
In the afternoon, she went to inspect the camps of the national army and thanked them for their hard work in defending the nation in acknowledgment of the 823 Artillery Bombardment of 1958.
Tsai also updated the public on her health conditions through Facebook on Monday evening, saying that the vaccine shot didn’t hurt at all and she managed to follow through with all her work appointments without any health issues.
