Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action drama is an emotional ride, besides a few commercial fan-boy elements that Balakrishna’s fans expect, while on the other hand, Chiranjeevi’s action comedy ‘Waltair Veerayya’ written and directed by Bobby Kolli deals with Mafia, smuggling and brotherhood.
However, the budget of ‘Veera Simha reddy’ is comparatively lesser than that of ‘Waltair Veerayya’ but was released a day before Chiranjeevi’s film and ‘WA’ was dubbed into Hindi and released for the Hindi audience which was not the case with ‘VSR’
NBK’s ‘VSR’ has reportedly minted over Rs 2.5 crores on its 12th day and the majority of its collections were from the Ceded, especially from the B, and C centres of Telugu states. The film has 25 – 45% occupancy at the theatres.
Megastar’s ‘Waltair veerayya’ which managed to collect Rs 4.5 crores on its 11th day has 35-55% occupancy at the theatres and is inching towards Rs 200 crores.
