New Delhi: In a bid to spice up COVID-19 vaccination, Pakistan has banned home journey of unvaccinated adults, i.e., individuals above 18, IANS cited media studies as saying. As per a doc accessed by Daybreak and issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) no unvaccinated citizen of 18 and above will likely be permitted to undertake domestic air journey from August 1.
“Restriction is for home air journey and other people travelling from Pakistan to overseas or from overseas to Pakistan are exempted from restriction. It is usually not relevant on hyperlink flights if these are inside 72 hours of arrival or departure,” IANS quoted the doc as saying.
Additional, it added that partially vaccinated people, international nationals, Pakistani nationals possessing documentary proof of vaccination overseas and sufferers who’re clinically suggested in opposition to vaccination on account of threat of response will likely be exempted from the restriction.
