BTS member J-Hope will soon be going for his military enlistment, as the K-Pop group’s agency, BIG HIT Music, had previously confirmed. However, the rapper and dance leader of the group recently mentioned that he will appear for one Weverse live before going off for his duties.
As the group’s fandom ARMY panicked about not seeing Hope before he leaves, the artiste himself took to the social media site and shared an update which reassured fans about seeing him one last time as he prepares for the military.
Sharing a finger heart sign, J-Hope mentioned in a short statement, “Everyone, I’m not going tomorrow.. I’ll come to see you this week through live streaming. My ARMYs, don’t have a hard time. Love you, ARMYs.” J-Hope will be the second member from the wildly successful music band to depart for the compulsory military duties, and will be joining eldest member Jin in the camp.
BIG HIT Music had earlier shared the news via a lengthy statement which read, “We thank all the fans for your continued support for BTS and would like to update you on J-Hope’s upcoming enlistment into the military. J-Hope will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that there will be no official event on the day of his entry. The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. To prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, fans are advised to refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts.”
On the work front, J-Hope recently released a single called “On the Street” in collaboration with his music idol and American rapper J Cole.
