Former UN Secretary-Common Ban Ki-moon was reelected for an extra four-year time period as Chair of the IOC Ethics Fee on the 138th IOC Session, a job he has held since 2017.
TOKYO, July 20 (Xinhua) — Former United Nations Secretary-Common Ban Ki-moon was reelected for an extra four-year time period as Chair of the Worldwide Olympic Committee (IOC) Ethics Fee on the 138th IOC Session right here on Tuesday.
The South Korean has held the place since 2017.
The IOC Session additionally re-elected Xue Hanqin from China as a member of the Fee for an extra four-year time period. Xue joined the Fee in 2017.
Laura Chinchilla from Costa Rica, who joined the IOC as a member in 2019, was elected as a brand new member of the Ethics Fee.
Based on the IOC, Ban and Xue have been elected of their capability as personalities, unbiased members who usually are not lively, honorary, or former IOC members.
Chinchilla has been elected because the IOC Ethics Fee member in her high quality as lively, honorary, or former IOC member.
