A video has gone viral on social media featuring Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) legend Virat Kohli, who can be seen shooting a promo for season 16 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. A behind-the-scenes (BTS) video featuring megastar Virat has been shared by IPL 2023 official broadcasters Star Sports via their official Twitter handle.
After winning the Test series, Virat Kohli-starrer team India will clash against Australia in a three-match ODI series starting from March 17. The 2023 season of IPL will kick-off on March 31 with a match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. RCB will kick-off their IPL 2023 campaign with a match against Mumbai Indians on April 2 at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
In the 33 seconds video, Virat Kohli can be seen wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans. The promo begins with, “Jor laga shor macha haath hila ke le tu maja.”

Ahead of IPL 2022, Virat Kohli relinquished captaincy of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Bangalore-based franchise, in all 15 years of IPL, are yet to win an IPL final since the inception of this tournament in 2008. Three times, RCB made it to the finals of IPL but failed to win the trophy.
Virat Kohli, one of the best cricketers ever to play IPL, has scored most runs by any batter in history of IPL. While playing for RCB in IPL, Virat has so far amassed over 6000+ runs. He has also scored the maximum runs by a batter in an IPL season – 973 runs.
