Violence on Republic Day scripted by BJP to discredit farmers’ movement, alleges AAP

The Aam Aadmi Social gathering (AAP) on Saturday alleged that the violence that unfolded on Republic Day through the tractor parade on January 26 within the nationwide capital was scripted by the BJP with the assistance of Delhi Police to “defame and discredit” the farmers’ motion.

In response, Delhi BJP Basic Secretary Harsh Malhotra claimed that no BJP employee was concerned in any violence or protest in opposition to the agitating farmers regardless of the inconvenience being triggered as a result of their demonstrations.
