Police mentioned a high Lashkar-e-Taiba ‘commander’, a foreigner and one other unidentified militant have been killed through the gunfight in Baramulla district.
Three militants have been killed in an in a single day gunfight in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The police on Monday recognized the slain militants as high Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Mudasir Pandit and Asrar alias Abdullah, a foreigner. Abdullah was lively since 2018.
“The identification of third slain militant is being ascertained,” the police mentioned.
The militants have been trapped by a joint crew of the safety forces in Gund Brath village of Sopore on Sunday night time throughout a search operation.
“Pandit was concerned within the killing of three policemen, two councillors and two civilians lately in Sopore,” Inspector Normal of Police Vijay Kumar mentioned.
