MUMBAI: The ministry of residence affairs (MHA) on Wednesday issued new Covid-19 pointers, paving method for cinema theatres to function at a better seating capability.

At current, cinema screens are working with 50% seating restrictions.

The order mentioned that the cinema halls and theatres might be permitted to function at greater seating capability, topic to a revised SOP to be issued by the ministry of knowledge & broadcasting.

“We hope that the federal government will carry the cap from 50% to at the very least 75%.
