On Monday, it was judokas’ show as Shushila Devi Likabam bagged a silver and Vijay Yadav settled for bronze in women’s 48 kg category and men’s 60kg category, respectively. Shushila Devi became the first Judoka to bag multiple medals in CWG as she last won a silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Indian athletics contingent will kick off their campaign on Tuesday and there is a lot to look forward to as Muhammed Anees and Murali Sreekumar will be seen in action. The long jumpers, who have good experience on the international circuit, will take part in the qualifying round.
