New Delhi, Jun 9: Internet services have been suspended in Jaipur’s Amer area for 12 hours till 9 am of 10th June citing security issues to the MLAs who are staying in an upscale hotel, district Administration said as per news agency ANI.
2G/3G/4F Data (mobile internet), internet services, bulk SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter & other social media services through internet service providers have been suspended in the area, the statement shared by ANI on Twitter said.
However, voice calls and broadband services are active.
The MLAs are staying at Hotel Leela in the teshil since evening after being shifted from Udaipur. They will go to the assembly building for the Rajya Sabha elections on Friday morning from this hotel, PTI reported.
