Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants (MI vs GG WPL 2023) Playing XI: Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians are on a roll in Women’s Premier League (WPL 2023), winning four out of four games in the tournament. It is Gujarat Giants now, Mumbai’s opponent in today’s WPL 2023 match, who have a chance to douse the fire. Mumbai, top contenders to win the historic tournament this year, have thrashed all their opponents easily in first half of the tournament and if they beat Gujarat Giants (GG) tonight, Harmanpreet-led side will book a top-two finish in WPL Points table and confirm a spot in WPL 2023 finals. On the other hand, Gujarat Giants, after losing their last match against Delhi Capitals, need a win badly as they have so far managed to get just two points from four matches.

Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants Toss Update: Gujarat Giants have won the toss and they decide to bowl first against Mumbai Indians.

“We are going to bowl first, there is a little moisture and it’s a bit windy. Will help our pacers – two changes for us, Laura and Georgia are OUT, Dunkley and Bell are in. I’m feeling good (after being hit on the head in the last match),” Gujarat Giants skipper Sneh Rana said after winning the toss.

“I thought I would win the toss, we were looking to bat first and so got what we wanted to do. They’re a good side, we just want to stick to our strengths, we’re always on the positive side. Just backing myself and the team mates is the key for our wins. Same XI for us,” Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur said after the toss.
