ZHANGYE, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) — A meandering array of illuminated lanterns is a millennium-old intangible cultural heritage item in Zhangye City, northwest China’s Gansu Province.
During the Spring Festival, local people walk into the lantern “maze,” hoping to have a good harvest and a happy life next year.
