Kochi: The Kerala Excessive Courtroom has on Monday sought the view of the Central authorities on a petition filed on July 16, 2021, by the mom of Nimisha Fathima who’s in Afghanistan jail following the killing of her Islamic State (IS) fighter husband in an assault.
A single Bench of Justice PB Suresh Kumar whereas contemplating the petition filed by Fathima’s mom Bindu Ok has sought a response from the Centre on this regard. Fatima’s mom has demanded the repatriation of her daughter and her four-year-old grand daughter stated the court docket.
The petition alleged, “not repatriating Nimisha and her baby quantities to a violation of the basic proper to life and denial of the proper to schooling to the child. The petitioner has been operating from pillar to put up since 2015 however has did not obtain any help from the central and state governments.
Not one of the media experiences which say they’ve been detained within the jail has been denounced or countered by the Indian authorities. Earlier, the Excessive Courtroom had refused to entertain a Habeas Corpus plea of Bindu in search of repatriation of Nimisha Fathima citing technical points.
