Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) have been showcasing a brilliant performance throughout the Indian Premier League 2022. As it has happened, GT became the first team since Rajasthan Royals (RR) to lift the trophy in their first-ever season in the league. Alongside the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), GT was one of the two teams to enter the tournament ahead of the 2022 season. At the IPL 2022 final match against RR, the Titans won by seven wickets in their debut season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Pandya produced a brilliant all-around performance as he picked up three wickets and scored 34 runs as well. Chasing 131 for victory, Gujarat depended on a 63-run partnership between Shubman Gill and Pandya. Gill and David Miller further ensured the debutants get past the finish line in the end. The final score for the winning team was 133-3 in 18.1 overs. Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah presented the prestigious IPL trophy to Pandya as GT celebrates the historic win. (All photos: Instagram)
