New Delhi: India has reported 1,150 new cases of COVID-19 and four more deaths in the last 24 hours, a bulletin released by the government on Sunday stated.
The active caseload in the country has risen to 11,558, with an increase of 192 such cases over the last 24 hours, the bulletin showed. Active cases at present constitute 0.03 per cent of the total cases in the country.
The recovery rate remained at 98.76 per cent, data showed.
With 954 recoveries registered in the last 24 hours, the total number of patients who have recovered from the disease rose to 4,25,08,788.
With the daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.31%, the weekly positivity rate at present is 0.27%, the government said.
Meanwhile, 3,65,118 tests for COVID detection have been conducted in India in the last 24 hours. A total of 83.18 crore tests have been conducted across the nation so far, as per Sunday’s bulletin.
As per health ministry data, a total of 186.51 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in India under the nationwide vaccination drive.
