IIT Patna to host All IITs Placement Committee meet on September 23 | Education News

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna) will be organising the All IITs Placement Committee (AIPC) meeting on September 23. The AIPC meeting is being held in its 37th edition this year and top officials of placement cells and career development cells of the 23 IITs will participate in the event.

Adding that it is for the first time IIT Patna is hosting such a big inter IIT event, the institute in a statement said that IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Patna will attend the 37th edition of the AIPC meet on September 23.

The AIPC meeting seeks to discuss issues with respect to the placement and internship opportunities of students pursuing their courses in the academic session 2023-24 and provide a way forward suggesting methodologies to provide better employability to the students.

Additionally, pressing issues including the ongoing layoffs in industries, suffering joining dates, streamlining placement process, training and skill development and AIPC’s guidelines for the industry and increasing job opportunities will also be discussed.

The 37th edition of the AIPC meeting will consist of three separate sessions along with a tour to the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage sites of Patna, particularly Bihar has also been planned. 

IIT Patna, as per the institute statement, will also be showcasing its infrastructure and other facilities to all the representatives of the 27 IITs intending to visit the institute in its 37th AIPC meet. This event, the statement added, is expected to put IIT Patna in the spotlight for the recruiters who are planning to recruit from IITs for this session and next year.
