HealthPlix Technologies appoints Gaurav Mathur as Head of EngineeringBengaluru: HealthPlix Technologies announced the appointment of a technology leader Gaurav Mathur as the Head of Engineering. In his new role, Gaurav will directly report to Sandeep Gudibanda, CEO, HealthPlix Technologies. He will be responsible for leading, scaling the current engineering team, and spearheading new engineering efforts to build next-generation clinical decision support systems and doctor first solutions.

In his most recent role Gaurav was leading Global Customer Learning Experience charter at Byju’s, where he managed multiple geographies including India, the US, Latin America, and Australia. He was instrumental in shaping the re-architecture of Flipkart’s supply chain systems, which allowed the grocery and hyperlocal supply chains to scale, as well as the conceptualisation of an automation & robotics charter in the logistics space.

Speaking on the appointment, Gudibanda, said, “I am thrilled to have Gaurav join the PlixForce as Head of Engineering. His appointment comes at a time when the spotlight is on Doctors in Bharat with an increasing need to empower them with proprietary digital tools to drive population-scale health outcomes. His experience in building and scaling world-class technology teams will be super helpful in creating a doctor first engineering team that solves some of the toughest challenges in healthcare. Welcoming Gaurav to embrace the new wave of digital healthcare with HealthPlix.”

Speaking on his appointment, Mathur, said, “HealthPlix resembles a rocket ship. The startup has delivered pioneering work and empowered doctors with technology that bridges the healthcare divide within the country. I am thrilled to be joining HealthPlix and building doctor-first digital engineering solutions that enable predictive tools to make clinical decision making efficient and effective.”

Gaurav’s appointment underscores HealthPlix’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare technology. He is a graduate of IIT Delhi with a proven track record of conceptualising and realising scalable solutions across various industries like E-commerce, Ad-Tech, Ed-Tech, Fin-tech to name a few.

With close to two decades software engineering experience working in fast-paced startup environments his build-from-the-ground-up approach will complement HealthPlix’s blueprint.
