CANNES, France, May 19 (Xinhua) — Several Chinese stars have arrived in Cannes, southern France, to attend the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
Chinese actresses Zhang Yuqi, Gao Ye and actor Zhu Yilong have acted in Japanese director Kore-Eda Hirokazu’s film “Kaibutsu” (Monster), which will compete for the Palme d’Or in Cannes, southern France.
This year’s Cannes Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday evening, with 21 films selected to compete for the Palme d’Or top prize.
