Congratulations are in order for ‘Little Mix’ singer Perrie Edwards and English footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the couple announced their engagement. Taking to Instagram, the adorable pair shared a series of pictures that capture the proposal. While Alex captioned the post as, “Mrs Oxlade-Chamberlain to be!” Perrie wrote, “Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES!” In the photos, the star couple appears to be on a holiday as he gets down on one knee to a beach backdrop with the sun setting in the background– he couldn’t have picked a better time to propose. One of the snaps shows Perrie flaunting her engagement ring. The announcement quickly racked up millions of likes and fans flocked to Twitter to congratulate the pair. The Liverpool football player has been dating Perrie for six years and they also share a ten-month-old son, baby Axel.
