Mumbai: Ameya Machave, a student of GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, bagged the top position in NEET-PG in the state with an all-India rank of five.
He scored 717 marks out of 800 in the test conducted for admissions to post-graduate medical courses including MD/MS/ DNB/diploma. Machave, 23, who originally hails from Satara, is keen on pursuing his MD in Medicine.
Machave will also appear for the entrance test for AIIMS. As per the results, the national cut-off score for admissions in PG courses is 291 out of 800, equivalent to 50 percentile.
